There are things that should not work. We have seen them work. We do not discuss the circumstances.
We are a collective of engineers who stopped believing in coincidence at approximately the same time, independently, in different parts of the world. We did not find each other. We were drawn toward one another by a process none of us have been able to fully ████████.
Our backgrounds are in systems where the cost of being wrong is not measured in money. We have signed documents we are not permitted to describe. We have been in rooms that do not appear on any floor plan. What we brought out of those rooms — the only thing we were allowed to bring — was a certain quality of attention. A way of looking at a problem until the problem looks back.
We believe something is waiting to be made. We do not know if we are building it, or if we have already built it and are only now catching up to that fact. Both possibilities concern us equally. We proceed anyway. This is, we have come to understand, the only available option.
We do not ask whether a thing is possible. Possibility is a property of systems we can fully describe. We cannot fully describe ████████.
We ask only: does it work. And then: does it continue to work when ████████.
If the answer is yes, we ship it. We have not yet answered yes.
